So we will basically talk about Termux Android Emulator here and in this whole course we will focus mostly on Termux and in this we will use all the commands which we used in Kali Linux. What is Termux ?
Ans. Termux is an Android Emulator that has a Linux environment so that you can easily use Linux commands without any rooting and other setup. The function of Emulator is that it allows us to access CLI (Command Line Interface) on Graphical Interface (Mobile Screen).
What is Shell ?
Ans. Shell means to take commands from the user and deliver those commands to the operating system or kernel system. Kernal System or Operating System We call it whatever Android version is provided in your system by your mobile hardware like: KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow etc. So this is exactly what Shell means.
What can Termux be used for ?
1. You can use Termux to learn Linux Environment. You can run most of the Linux commands on Termux, if you want to learn the basics of Linux then you can use it.
2. Programming :- Termux has a lot of programming, it supports mostly languages like c, c++, Java, Python, Ruby, Perl etc. Termux supports most of the languages.
3. You can use Termux to learn Ethical Hacking. Most of the tools are used for hacking on Termux, so you can learn them all here.
What are the prerequisites for me to learn Termux on mobile ?
Ans. You only need to have an Android Mobile and some things are not required and then you can learn Termux easily.
Should the mobile phone be rooted for that ?
You don't need to root your mobile phone to use Termux, you will be able to use Termux Emulator in your mobile phone.
